| Phosphorus in Wetlands – hydrology, biogeochemistry and management |
The course includes one week of preparation at home institutions followed by one week of intensive course 20th-26th September 2009 at Aarhus University, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Research Centre Foulum. Research Centre Foulum is located close to Viborg in the center of Jutland Denmark.
The preparatory part includes reading course literature and preparing a small excercise to be presented during the intensive course.
The intensive course includes lectures, exercises, field excursions and project work. Project work is carried out in groups of 3-5 students and targets wetland hydrology, biogeochemistry, modelling and water quality aspects of wetland restoration and management.
The course credit is 5 ECTS points.
Course fee is 400 Euro and covers accommondations and meals during the stay.
